State Secretary and Deputy Defense Minister Nikolai Pankov has sent a message of greetings that describes Koktebel Jazz Party 2017 as a major international cultural event. He expressed confidence that this outstanding musical event would contribute to expanding international cultural ties and to the cause of peace.
Krasnoyarsk Territory Governor Viktor Tolokonsky also welcomed participants: "For the last 15 years, the jazz festival in Koktebel has been a bright spot in the Crimean summer. <…> I'm confident that the upcoming festival will again be a true celebration for artists and lovers of the great art of jazz," he said.
