Double Bass Project band member Gregory Hutchinson has performed in Russia several times. This year, he admitted, he was nervous coming at Koktebel Jazz Party after reading various news reports in the mass media.
"You should see that you cannot always believe what you see on the news. People are not politicians; people are people and the politicians are the politicians. Don't be fooled by politics," he said. According to him, music should unite people and not be influenced by politics.
This will be Hutchinson's first performance with Double Bass Project. "This is my first time playing with these musicians and it's going to be very spontaneous and exiting," Hutchinson said.
