Russian President Vladimir Putin attended Koktebel Jazz Party and congratulated its participants and guests on the 15th jazz season in Crimea.
"Music is a language like Esperanto, it needs no translation and unites people. My congratulations on this festival!" the President said.
Vladimir Putin noted that over the years the festival has seen some 150 top musicians. This year, ten outstanding jazz bands performed at the event.
After offering his congratulations to Koktebel Jazz Party organizers, participants and guests, the President attended the performance by Yakov Okun's band.
