The Russian event tourism contest was part of the 5th Russian Open Event Expo trade fair. For several days, the Yugra Expo exhibition center turned into a micro-city, with residents presenting tourist projects from across Russia. The program also included workshops, quizzes and roundtables.
Contest participants competed in nine categories as well as two independent competitions, Event Tourism Capital for municipalities and Event Tourism Leader for regions.
